Who runs Roomsouq

Roomsouq is run by TARISAR.

When you search

We count visits, searches and how fast pages load with cookie-free statistics, so we know which pages and filters help people. We don't build profiles, we don't ask who you are and we don't sell data.

When you click through to a shop

When you open a product at a shop, we count the visit, so we can tell shops how many people found them through us. We don't store your IP address. What happens on the shop's site is covered by the shop's own privacy policy.

Your shortlist

Saved in your browser's local storage on your device. We don't receive it. Sharing it on WhatsApp sends it through WhatsApp.

When you vote on a shared list

A shared list gets a random code. To count one vote per person we store a keyed hash of your connection and browser, never your IP address, plus a random number kept in your browser. Lists and votes are deleted after 30 days.

When a shop contacts us

The details sent through the shop contact form are used only to reply and to arrange a listing, and are deleted on request.

Cookies

We don't set advertising or analytics cookies. Our hosting provider and the shops' image servers may set technical cookies, and the shop contact form uses a spam check.

Where your data is processed

Data is processed on Cloudflare's network and on our servers in the EU.
