In October 2026, furnishing a one-bedroom flat in Dubai with ten core pieces cost about AED 12,500 if you chose from the lowest-priced tenth of what the shops we search list, about AED 22,500 from the lower quarter, and about AED 35,000 at typical (median) prices. A desk and an office chair add between about AED 800 and AED 4,650. These figures come from more than 40,000 products in 18 UAE furniture shops, with prices checked daily.
A one-bedroom flat at three price levels
Each column takes a price level in each category: the price below which a tenth of products sit, a quarter of products sit, or half sit (the median). The pieces can come from different shops.
| Piece | Lower end | Lower quarter | Typical |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 seater sofa | AED 2,000 | AED 2,700 | AED 4,500 |
| Bed frame for 160 x 200 cm | AED 1,400 | AED 1,700 | AED 2,300 |
| Mattress 160 x 200 cm | AED 1,550 | AED 3,200 | AED 3,800 |
| Wardrobe | AED 350 | AED 850 | AED 2,050 |
| Dining table up to 140 cm | AED 1,100 | AED 2,150 | AED 3,800 |
| 4 dining chairs | AED 2,000 | AED 3,300 | AED 5,250 |
| Coffee table | AED 850 | AED 2,000 | AED 3,250 |
| TV unit | AED 1,000 | AED 2,500 | AED 4,350 |
| Rug, 200 cm or longer | AED 700 | AED 1,400 | AED 1,600 |
| 2 bedside or side tables | AED 1,500 | AED 2,650 | AED 4,400 |
| Total | AED 12,450 | AED 22,450 | AED 35,300 |
The mattress figures come from a small sample (21 mattresses of that size with a readable size), so treat them as a guide. Side tables include decorative pieces, which lifts the typical price; plain bedside tables often cost less.
Where prices sit, shop by shop
If you're looking for cheap furniture in Dubai, typical prices differ a lot between shops. For sofas and beds, the two biggest pieces, these are the typical (median) prices at the seven shops that list at least 60 sofas and 100 beds, listed alphabetically:
| Shop | Typical sofa | Typical bed |
|---|---|---|
| Ebarza | AED 8,650 | AED 8,250 |
| Fullflat | AED 5,550 | AED 3,000 |
| HOC Furniture | AED 5,300 | AED 3,850 |
| Homekode | AED 3,100 | AED 3,450 |
| IKEA UAE | AED 2,400 | AED 900 |
| Karnak Home | AED 2,250 | AED 1,900 |
| The Home | AED 3,000 | AED 1,900 |
A typical price is only a middle point: every shop above also lists pieces well below it. Sort any category by price to see the lowest listed prices first.
Ways to spend less
Buy display items
Some shops sell ex-showroom pieces at a discount. Check the condition in person if you can.
Look at verified sales
Our furniture sale page shows discounts as each shop states them. When a shop marks most of its range as on sale, we treat the old price as its normal price and don't count it as a discount.
Choose pieces that do two jobs
A sofa bed (typical price about AED 3,300) can replace a guest bed, and a bed with storage can replace a chest of drawers.
Measure before you buy
A return can cost a collection fee and weeks of waiting. Check the size against your room and the way in before you pay. Read our sofa size guide first.
Consider second-hand for some pieces
Classifieds such as Dubizzle and community groups sell used furniture, often from people leaving the UAE. It suits solid wood tables and storage better than mattresses and fabric sofas.
Spend where you sit and sleep: the sofa and the mattress get the most use. Then fill the gaps with lower-priced side tables, storage and rugs, which are easy to replace later.
